Unproven but...: This therapy may be helpful for some people but there are no valid scientific studies that support it. Just because there are no studies doesn't mean it can't work so you have to try it to find out. It is probably harmless. I usually recommend patients try something like this once and if it helps it is your decision to continue. Insurance usually won't pay for this so you decide if there is value.
