Needs to be seen: There are a variety of causes. Compromised arterial or venous circulation is common, easy to diagnose, and usually treatable. If this is a peripheral neuropathy, which a physician can detect easily, finding the precise cause is one of the most challenging workups in medicine but needs to be done.
