I have low platelets had a tooth removed yesterday. will it required stitches?

Maybe : I hope you told your dentist that you have low platelets before surgery. If you are still bleeding please contact both your dentist and your doctor immediately. You shouldl be bleeding one day after a tooth extraction. Avoid taking ibuprophen as this increases bleeding. If you're still bleeding, your dentist can pack your tooth socket to stop the bleeding. You probably won't need stiches.
