How to survive a pulmonary embolism if left untreated?

Why not treat it?: Pulmonary emboli are not things to be ignored or not treat. This is something that a medical professional needs to treat with usually blood thinners. If there is a reason to not give blood thinners, then there still may be other things to do to minimize or prevent the risk of future clots.
