What can be expected if new false teeth ?

Dentures: Usually the first 6 months is the most difficult part of getting dentures as not only do you have to learn to use them, adjustments on sore spots need to be made. On a more positive note, the majority of people do adapt to dentures very well and after the first 6 months things can only get better. You may also read up on implant supported overdentures and ask your dentist about them.

Lots of adjustments: New set of false teeth or denture will need some adjustment period: it can be too tight, too loose, you can experience speech difficultie, too much saliva. Bottom line is that there is a period of adjustment and you have to hang in there with your dentist and go for few visits so he or she can do minor adjustments here and there to make it comfortable and functional for you.

Multiple...: Re-learning how to eat and speak is expected. I would start with eating softer foods at first and then working my way towards more firmer foods as i get more comfortable and dedicated to this.

Adjustment period.: Dentures are never going to be as good as what god gave us. However, a well-made set of teeth can be functional, esthetic, and comfortable. Initially, you will have adjustments that are needed, and you will have to learn to adapt to the dentures. Eating will be more difficult, especially until your tongue, cheeks, and lips are able to control the dentures. It is, possible to succeed at this !

Need patience: New false teeth can be challenging for someone whom has never worn them before, with with time and patience, people adjust quite well. People vary in terms of getting used to the dentures, so don't compare their experiences and get frustrated. Adjustments will normally have to be made.
