Yes: Patients with hand injuries such as fractures or sprains can be sore, stiff and swollen for 3 to 6 months. If you have not seen a doctor please see a hand surgeon to make sure there is nothing else going on.

Hand Injury: This all depends upon what the injury is , but yes even three months later an injury can still be synptomatic even with care. Most do not appreciate the very long time frame that is involved with hand and wrist injury to feel "normal" this is why hand therapy is such an important field and why hand surgeons exist as the brea dth of injury and treatment can be varied even for simple.
