Exercise including: Core conditioning program with gentle strecthing, cadio routines & exercises emphasizing core strengthening in additon to keeping a lean body mass & avoiding fatigue. Habits such as smoking have significant negative impact on the spine. Also avoid prolonged sitting & long drives as well as long periods of standing-take breaks if needed. Back support & otc meds may help if no contraindications.
