Why would my doctor give me standard dose act chemo instead of dose dense. it is my understanding that does dense has better survival rates.?

Do not know why: In my opinion, there is no reason to give standard ac followed by t. Dose dense is better, faster, and safer(from an infectious standpoint). I would question this to your oncologist.

Ask him or her: Dose dense may be appropriate but many factors involved in choosing chemotherapy regimen. Don't be shy about asking your doctor ant question.
