Borderline: Ideally, we'd like to see blood pressures less than 130/80, we recommend treatment over 140/90.

No: Generally you want to be under 140 and under 90. Try taking it at some other point in the day when you have time to sit for 10 minutes doing nothing. If the numbers are in the same range you need to see your md to determine/treat the cause. Are the arteries hardening or is it all stress;the american disease.

Probably Not: A 24 hour blood presure monitor would be extremely helpful to evaluate both awake and asleep blood pressure.
