Not really: There are really no homeopathic treatments available to treat varicose veins but you may not need surgery to treat the problematic veins. Compression sclerotherapy or laser are possible options depending on the size of the vein and the pressure it is under. I would recommend seeing a phlebologist to see what options are available for your particular problem.

Physician Review: Varicose veins of the lower extremities can have various sources. The varicose veins are a result of pooling of blood with increased venous blood pressure. The best way to close the varicose veins can be determined on physical exam and a focus venous ultrasound examination by a physician skill in treating venous disease. Check out the american venous forum or american college of phlebology.

No homeopathy: Drs. Michaels and white are right. There is no effective homeopathic treatment for varicose veins that will work. If you are having bleeing episodes then you really need to have something done and not put it offl. A venous ultrasound evaluation to identify the veins that need to be treated. Once that is done, a treatment plan can be recommended to you that doesn't have to require surgery.

V V's: Homeopathic treatment is not the answer. Bleeding is an absolute indication to correct the vein problem. Sclerotherapy may be of benefit but the best course would be to see a vein specialist for a full venous evaluation and recommendations for any additional treatment.
