May be hernia. : Ct scans are notoriously unreliable for evaluation of inguinal (groin) hernias. I suggest that you see a hernia surgeon for a formal exam; it is possible that you have a recurrent hernia. Good luck.

Same sensation: Just because the sensation is similar doesn't mean the hernia is back. Could be related to the operation itself. You should only worry if it gets worse, or is so bad it is limiting activity.

Hernia with neg CT: Hi, i always tell my patients that the "body doesn't lie", you are having pain for a reason. Ct scan's can miss some hernias depending on location, size, type, quality of the imaging study and the radiology interpretation. Consider having a general surgeon examine you and persue this symptom until it has been identified.
