Yes: It is entirely possible to fracture a bone in your hand (and especially in your wrist ) and not see it on the initial x-rays. If pain continues for 2 weeks, it may make sense for a re-evaluation and repeat xray (a missed fracture will become more apparent after 2-3 weeks) sometimes in the wrist, a ct scan is helpful to identify the extent of injury.

Possibly: Hairline fractures may take a few days to show on an xray; so getting a new xray if the symptoms are persistent may be a good idea.
