How long should a person need to be off work after a cervical laminectomy?

It depend?: Iknow everyone recovers differently but in general the kind of job you do is big factor, wither you have complications or , what kind of procedure done. Let assume one disc is done with had wear (plate) and you do desk job you could go back to work in 4 weeks.

Depends on the : Number of levels involved and what the uderlying diagnosis was along with any neurologic issues as well as any surgical complications. It also depends on the commute and how it is made as well as the type of job (desk v heavy labor). So this can range to a couple of weeks to a couple of months.
