A member asked:

What to do if i have recently been told i may need to get a posterior cervical laminectomy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Second opinion: There are many different type of pathology that can effect the cervical spine. There are several different treatment options for these pathologies as well. A laminectomy may be very reasonable for your cervical pathology. However, if you are not comfortable with your surgeons explanation and recommendation, then i would strongly urge you to get a second opinion.
