Cervical spine: Why would a spine surgeon subject a 80-years old patient to undergo a cervical spinal surgery? Have you sought a second opinion to determine if surgery was an absolutely necessary, especially at your age with a history of diabetes? Perhaps you should ask for a trial of Zofran (ondansetron) 4mg.
