Good but be careful: Methadone is ver potent and unlike most opioids, it's lasts a long time in your body. It can be used safely and effectively but the mantra should be go low and flow. When initiating Methadone it can slowly build up and stack up in your body and thus it's advisable to work with an experienced pain specialist and start at a very low starting dose and re-evaluate for increasing no sooner than 1week.
