Check pulses: Some variation can be normal, but have a physician check pulses at the groin, back of the knee and ankle. If they are even, ask yourself about trauma's to either leg- broken bones? Feels better when you have a reason and even better if its true! blood flow (doppler studies) can look at the deeper blood flow and compare legs. Acute blood clots are usually painful.

This is not : Necessarily pathological. One would need to check if the blood is flowing normally, this is done by checking pulses. Non invasive arterial exams can be performed which is a non painful quick test done with blood pressure cuffs on different parts of the leg. A simple capillary refill test can be performed by you by pressing tips of toes to see if color returns quickly. If concerned see dr.
