Depends: That depends on the size, shape, calcification, location, age of the person, history of cigarettes smoking, exposure to fungal illness etc. The causes of lung nodules are many including scar tissue, old fungal or tuberculous infection, cancer, blood vessel, benign tumors of lungs etc, hence, evaluation by a lung specialist is necessary.
