Yes and no: Spotting is something that should always be brought up to the OB since there can always be an issue that needs to be addressed. However if they are ok with things, and the baby is doing fine, then follow the directions you've been given. Many women have spotting for innocent reasons and the babies are fine but make sure to let your OB know what's going on.
