Post Strep: There are poststreptococcal arthritis syndromes. The best known is acute rheumatic fever. More often in adults we see post streptococcal arthritis. I cannot say for sure you have that picture need an evaluation. Often if your strep throat is treated soon enough such occurrences can be prevented. Your arthritis evaluation will clarify that.
