Multiple Joints: Typically with multiple joint involvement we have our patients start with a rheumatologist to check if there is systemic arthritic involvement. Your primary care doc could start the evaluation with 10 days on 4 days off various anti-inflammatory medications to see if they can find one of the 9 categories to work well at controlling your symptoms.
