Lymph nodes in neck: The lymph nodes in the neck can take up to a few weeks to come down after an illness.. Even if the illness is properly treated. If none of your symptoms are improving - you either have been given the wrong antibiotic or you had a viral illness to begin with (most common reason i see why people don't get better after an antibiotic).
