Possible: But unusual. Without knowing the full history and seeing the lesions it is difficult to tell for sure, but relatively pain-free herpes zoster (shingles) is seen. If you have questions about the diagnosis see a dermatologist and be sure.

Perhaps but....: There isn't any rule that you must have pain, sometimes just itching and sometimes nothing but the rash. No pain is good since post herpetic neuralgia is more common when there is more pain acutely.
