Of course: But OB/GYN specialists see many times more of these problems that infectious disease doctors do. Because there are so many causes of vaginal infections & symptoms, the testing & diagnosis can be complex. Perhaps a consultation with an Infectious Disease specialist to get some perspective on your problem might be helpful at this point. What you really need is an OB/GYN you have confidence in.

You may be confused: Have you seen a doctor for anxiety? It may be quite helpful. Mostly people that go to dozens of OB-Gyns and get told the same thing and still think they have something wrong are having psychiatric problems. Please see your doctor for this and a Phd psychologist for therapy. In the future use condoms.

Be aware: If multiple OB/GYN's haven't been able to identify your issue from a vaginal perspective, it's very possible that an infectious disease specialist may not provide you any better input. I just want you to be prepared that doctors don't have the answer for everything. Best of luck.
