Probably not: All women of reproductive age typically develop 3-5 small cysts on each over every month. One usually becomes a dominant cyst (egg or follicle) from which ovulation occurs. Oral contraceptives can reduce cyst number and size. Ask your gyn if there is a concern over pcos (polycystic ovarian syndrome) before considering anything.
