Hard to know: A "shadow" on a scan can be some fat tissue or normal tissue that overlaps other normal tissue. The worst case scenario is pancreatic cancer, which is probably why they are having your scan looked at by a specialist. Other possibilities include a benign cyst, scar tissue, or a normal pancreas. Try to relax until you know the results. There may be nothing to worry about!
