Wait and call: Though Medrol (methylprednisolone) is often prescribed for allergic conditions that include itching, there have been cases in which Medrol (methylprednisolone) itself has caused itching. Wait until the doctor's office opens, call them, and say, " i think i may be having an allergic reaction." then, describe your symptoms.

Stop, see specialist: Stop the med. Rare to be allergic to steroid but possible. Why are you taking Medrol (methylprednisolone) for a swollen jaw? Very unusual. Address cause of swollen jaw. For best results with swollen jaw, make sure you are evaluated and treated by a board certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon.
