Will i have pain after gingivectomy?

A little: Depends if done with laser or otherwise. Usually with laser postoperative pain or discomfort is less. Either way it can be controlled with over the counter painkiller.

Yes: The gum tissue is removed in a gingivectomy . If the area is minor and done with some of the new lasers the discomfort should be very minimal to none. If done with a scalpel there will be more discomfort. The larger the area the more discomfort you will have.
