What is a gingivectomy like?

Not bad: Gingivecty typically isn't a major procedure, but it does depend on how much is being done. A small amount of gum tissue is trimmed away, often with a laser. Some soreness is to be expected as well as some tooth sensitivity, although this is usually temporary and varies based on the individual and the amount of gingivectomy being done.
