I've 20-60 vision. what is that?

Lowered vision: If your 20/60 vision is best corrected, then there is some problem with your eye which limits the best acuity. If it is the best uncorrected, there may be some improvement even to normal with eyeglasses. The fraction 20/20 indicates the smallest print that can be seen at 20 feet while 20/60 means the normal can see them at 60 feet.

Moderate low-vision: The snellen fraction is defined as testing distance (numerator) over equivalent letter-size (denominator). The equivalent metric system is used worldwide (20/60 = 6/18 = 1/3). The 20/20 (6/6) optotype is defined as 5 seconds of arc (1.45 mm at 1 meter). If your best-corrected visual acuity in your better-seeing eye is 20/60, you would benefit from a low-vision rehabilitation consultation..
