Personal preference: 20/30 is still acceptable vision, and may not require glasses, but if you did get some correcting lenses in glasses, it certainly could improve your vision/clarity to normal if preferred.

20/30 VA: Your age the most likely cause is refractive error correction, assuming your health is good and you have not taken steroids by mouth or injection. With this vision you can get by uncorrected but you would see so much better under certain circumstances, like driving and movies if nearsighted or for reading if you have astigmatism or are farsighted.An eye exam will show u the difference.
