Many different ones: While not technically a vitamin, the most common nutrient deficiency that causes muscle cramps is magnesium. Other minerals that cause cramps if deficient are calcium and potassium. While less common a cause, some vitamins can also cause cramps if deficient, especially vitamins b6, B12 and vitamin e. Stress can also be a factor. Yoga and stretching can also help prevent muscle cramps.
