You can't: Staph is normally found on the skin. Infections occur when the bacteria invades the body through a cut or an ingrown hair. If this occurs, treatment may involve antibiotics and removal of the infected tissue. To avoid infection and control the amount of bacteria that is present on the skin of your forearms, practices such good hand hygiene and immediately cleaning cuts are recommended.
