Increased appetite: You haven't mentioned your height and weight, so its hard to say if your weight gain is appropriate. Normal growth does require a big appetite, and doing vigorous prolonged exercise will also increase your dietary needs. If you are not highly active, and you are gaining weight above your ideal, you may want to take steps to control what you eat and look for ways to increase your level of activity.
