Hi docs, my son is 16, adhd and depression on 1mg abilify, 17mg methylphenidate, 112.5 venlafaxine. took abilify for 3-4 weeks gained 8 pounds and always feel hungry. but abilify worked a lot for his depression but he is already overweight, whatto do?

I am impressed how a 19 y/o male can have a son of 16??? The diagnosis and management of ADHD is not easy. I recommend you spend a few $./yen and get a subscription to uptodate for a month and both of you read all about ADHD. Then discuss your questions with his treating Dr(s). Then you all together put a plan of action that best fits your situation. Then give a try. Will take time to work out.
