Internal: UTIs in infants is most often caused by the kidney filtering out a germ from the blood stream. It can sometimes be caused by a weakness in the bladder that allows urine to flow backwards back up to kidney. Rarely due to external infection. Depending on age, certain X-rays may need to be done to look for an anatomical problem. Consult your pediatrician to determine the right treatment for baby
