Pruritus Ani: Itching is termed pruritus ani. In association with bleeding most common cause is hemorrhoids. Other causes: diarrhea, infection, seepage of stool, soaps, drugs, excess hair , alcohol, caffeine, etc. Keep area clean & dry without too much wiping. Use a fiber supplement. Since rectal bleeding is a factor, see your doctor.
