Maybe: This could be of course a lung problem. It's more important to check for sleep apnea and aspiration, very common after a stroke.

Possibly: It is hard to ignore recent studies indicating the correlation of stroke to underlying sleep apnea. When there are significant apnea and hypopnea events, there are significant drop in blood oxygen levels along with and significant increase in both heart rate and blood pressure, the conditions are ripe for high risk of strokes.
