Can hives be a symptom of a cold? my daughter is 12 and has had hives all over for 2 days and now on the 3rd day she seems to be getting a chest cold.

Maybe: Allergies can present with cold symptoms. If "cold symptoms" do not resolve in 5-6 days and linger, it may be due to either allergies or a consequence of allergies , like a sinus infection. Hives are very common with allergies.
