These guidelines for: These guidelines for a healthy adult who has no medical condition like obesity, diabetes etc and consumes 2000 cals daily
45 to65% of total calories should come from carbs.So for a 2000 cals diet, you will need 225to325 grms of carbs in your daily diet
but if you have medical condition than you need to be in low carb diet.

Under 50: For fat loss you want to stay under 50 gm carbs. But you may need to go below 20 depending on your body metabolism, and physiology. A simple approach is the seafood and salad diet. Eat only seafood (fish, shell fish, seaweed) and salad (and non-starch veggies (no roots)).
