How could ventricular tachycardia feel different from atrial tachycardia?

No definite rules...: Can differentiate these 2 arrhythmia types, although ventricular tachycardia generally causes more severe symptoms such as chest pain, fainting and even a cardiac arrest. Atrial tachycardia almost never causes cardiac arrest, although can be felt as palpitations with lightheadedness or difficulty breathing.

Passing Out / Dying: Both cause palpitations, but ventricular tachycardia is more often than not unstable (causes low blood pressure). This leads to passing out and/or dying. Vt is a serious arrhythmia, not to be confused with nonsustained VT (its less determined cousin) or pvcs [premature ventricular contractions] (wannabe vts). If sustained VT is present, a defibrillator is usually advised.
