A member asked:

What they test for in a drug test for insurance?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Risk of disease: If you are talking about life insurance, they are interested in evidence of risk for early death. Testing for evidence of tabacco use, hiv/aids, elevated lipidis/cholesterol, diabetes and high blood pressure are common. You may still be able to get insurance, but the rates will be higher.
