Bloodwork normal, upper endo normal.gi put me on reglan 5mg three times daily for a month to test for gastroparesis. no insurance, motility test too expensive. is this dose safe? how quickly will td set in if i am sensitive to this drug?

Yes, it is safe, only 1/2 of the usual dose. If you respond to the medication you should see the improvement in the next 24-48 hours. However, if there is minimal or no improvement, dose should be doubled, 10 mg q 6-8 hours for a couple days before deciding the trial fails.
