Tennis elbow: This may be a tennis elbow, cause by an inflamed tendon at the elbow. However, it can be caused by nerve compression at the wrist such as that in carpal tunnel syndrome. Please see an experienced hand plastic surgeon for the correct diagnosis and treatment.

Lots of things: Hairstylists use their hands...A lot, and pain in your wrist and elbow may be due to many things including tendinitis, tendinosis, joint inflammation(synovitis) to list a few. Best to be evaluated by an orthopaedic or hand specialist, and further test may be necessary.
