A member asked:

I have a hypothyroid condition and i am constantly constipated, how do i fix this problem?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Since you say you are hypothyroid, i assume you are taking daily thyroid & get tested occasionally to see if your meds are doing their job. If not, get tested & if still showing hypothyroid your meds should be adjusted. Constipation is a sign of hypothyroidism. That said, if your numbers are normal you are like anyone else with the problem. Daily scheduled emptying & increased fiber help most.
