YES: Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine, and can cause sedation along with its intended anti-anxiety or other reasons for which it's prescribed. It does not change your intelligence, but can make you feel slowed down or less able to respond intelligently -- especially if dose is too high or frequent. Discuss your concerns w/your physician.

Yes: Clonazepam is a sedative. This means one of its primary effects is slowing of cognitive processes. In the case of anxiety, this turns out to be a good thing but in excess it can be a problem.
