Can you improve your eyesight without lasik surgery?

Yes: Laser refractive surgery (such as lasik) is just one method of visual correction. The most common and least risky method is of course using glasses or spectacles. Next people can consider using contact lenses. Laser refractive surgery is next with an increased risk for ocular surface surgery. Finally with the greatest risk are intraocular surgeries such as phakic iol, refractive lens exchange.

Yes: Glasses or contact lenses are common ways to improve your vision without surgery. Otherwise there are no medications, vitamins or excercises that you can do to improve that have ever been proven to improve your vision.

Yes if healthy eyes: If your eyes are healthy, eyesight can improve with contacts, glasses, orthokeratology, lens implants, prk, and other types of procedures. Limits of any of these occur if the eye(s) has any disease process. Be sure to discuss the risks and benefits of each of these methods with your doctor.
