Get options from doc: It is not always clear that a bulging disc is a "pain generator" as many people with no pain will have them. Should get detailed history and physical exam to focus in on potential pain generators and then establish treatment options based on the presumed sites or origins of pain. Most back pain improves on its own but there are options to help it along.
