As long as $$$ lasts: Microdermabrasion removes only the topmost dead layers of your skin, so no healing is involved, and your skin feels as smooth as baby skin for a short period until the next layer of living cells "push" the dead topmost layers to the surface again! you can actually microdermabrade too much if you remove tissues to the living, bleeding cells so that healing is required (like "regular" dermabrasion).
