3-4 weeks: Arthritis with kawasaki is rare, but usually subsides by 3-4 weeks after initial presentation of the illness. Otc pain relief.

Severe illness : Kawasaki disease can be fatal. Cardiac problems (coronary artery inflammation) are the major concern. Treatment with Aspirin is considered curative. If your child has kawasaki's s/he should have been under the care of a pediatric rheumatologist, who could assist with the other range of symptoms in your child.
